Permits and Inspections

Where required by applicable laws, codes, or regulations, Simplified Heating and Air of the Treasure Coast, LLC will obtain the necessary permits for HVAC installations, replacements, and other covered work unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers acknowledge that:

Permit fees, inspection fees, and related governmental charges may be included in project pricing or separately itemized on estimates and invoices.
Installation schedules may be affected by permit processing times, inspection scheduling, and governmental agency availability.
Final approval of work may require inspection by the applicable building department or authority having jurisdiction.
The Company is not responsible for delays caused by permitting agencies, inspectors, utility providers, manufacturers, suppliers, weather events, or circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control.

Customer Access Requirements

The customer agrees to provide reasonable access to all areas necessary for the performance of work, including but not limited to:

Air handlers
Condensing units
Electrical panels
Attics
Crawl spaces
Mechanical rooms
Thermostats
Roof-mounted equipment

The customer is responsible for ensuring that technicians have safe and unobstructed access to work areas during scheduled appointments.

If access is restricted or unavailable upon arrival, additional service charges, return trip charges, or project delays may occur.

Unsafe or Hazardous Conditions

The Company reserves the right to suspend or refuse work if technicians encounter unsafe conditions, including but not limited to:

Structural instability
Electrical hazards
Standing water
Animal infestations
Excessive heat conditions
Mold or hazardous substances
Aggressive animals
Conditions that may threaten employee safety

Any resulting delays or additional costs necessary to address such conditions shall be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Inspection Corrections

Should an inspection authority require corrections related to work performed by the Company, the Company will address covered corrections in accordance with applicable code requirements and any written warranty obligations.

The Company shall not be responsible for correcting pre-existing conditions, previously installed equipment, customer modifications, or deficiencies unrelated to the work performed under the agreement.

Customer Responsibility Following Final Inspection

Once work has passed any required final inspections and the system has been demonstrated to be operational, the customer assumes responsibility for the proper operation, maintenance, and care of the equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
